Southwest Texas South Lake – ( BUSINESS WIRE ) – ( BUSINESS WIRE ) – As a US-based medical equipment company, continuous wavelet transform (CWT) signal processing method and field of electrocardiogram inspection through application of artificial intelligence to lead the innovation in the heart Sciences today announced that it has welcomed Peter · W · McFarlane in clinical advisory committee.

Professor Peter W. McFarlane (DSc eFESC FRSE) has over 40 years experience in developing electrocardiogram interpretation systems using computers as an expert in the field of electrocardiography, with over 300 publications on this topic and In addition to refereed papers, I am writing numerous books. Professor McFarlane is known as a pioneer on the use of computers in electrocardiogram interpretation at hospitals. The results of the research conducted by the professor’s team have been used commercially and the Glasgow University Electrocardiogram Interpretation and Analysis method developed at the professor’s lab is currently being used around the world. The Glasgow analysis method is installed in the MyoVista® wav ECG ™ Device , which enhances the functions of Heart Sciences products by computer analysis of conventional electrocardiogram waveforms. Professor is currently Emeritus Professor and Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Glasgow. Professor McFarlane was awarded CBE in 2014 against the achievement of medical treatment in the UK.

Professor is the incumbent president of the international computer electrocardiographical conference (ISCE). I also serve as Chairman of the World Electrochemical Society (ISE) who served as Chairman in the past. What is the main concern in the work experience of the professor is the application of computer techniques to electrocardiogram interpretation.

Professor McFarlane states as follows. “The use of computer skills in Heart Sciences such as signal processing and artificial intelligence is truly innovative and I am looking forward to contributing to the success of Heart Sciences.”

Mark Hilz, Chief Executive Officer of Heart Sciences, says: “Heart Sciences is honored to have Professor McFarlane at the clinical advisory committee. Professor Professor’s extensive experience and expertise on the application of computerized techniques to electrocardiograms will be based on the direction of our technology and future prospects I am very conforming, I would like to cooperate with the professor and achieve the common goal of improving the function to the electrocardiogram method to discover cardiac diseases. ”

About Heart Sciences

Heart Sciences leads innovation in the field of continuous wavelet transform (CWT) signal processing and electrocardiography through the application of artificial intelligence. Wavelet signal processing is currently used in various industries as an important tool for providing detailed knowledge related to spectral analysis of signals and new useful data. Heart Sciences’ MyoVista® Wavelet ECG (wavECG ™) is the market’s first resting 12-lead electrocardiograph with a new informatics technology based on wavelet signal processing. Patented informatics technology focuses on information related to energy rather than conventional data based on voltage. The mission of Heart Sciences is to realize an accurate and easy-to-find screening method for the early detection of heart disease.
