The Armery solution maximizes support and protection during radial procedures and furthers Rampart’s mission to provide market leading radiation protection solutions for healthcare teams delivering care in interventional suites.
When performing a cardiac catheterization using the radial artery for access, it is widely known that radiation exposure to the operating physician is higher than using the femoral artery. With the wide adoption of radial access, the resulting greater radiation exposure is a major concern, and as a result there is market demand for a complete solution.
The Armery Radial Arm Board solution optimizes safety and function with both the operator and patient’s needs in mind. Every detail has been carefully considered and designed based on real-world experience and evidence. The Armery solution is supported by real-world randomized data, demonstrating a significant reduction in radiation exposure to the head, neck and torso of the primary operator.
